A post for December

Some shots of my poinsettias. I have very good luck keeping them looking nice for the whole season since they are under the cabinet lights. But I love to capture them in photos too.
















My attempt to be creative at Christmas without dragging out the tree and all the trimmings this year was to put some ornaments in a glass vase on our table. I love how the photo catches the distortion of the glass.





This plate was my grandmother's Sunday dinner set, the nicest she owned. My other Grandmother had given them to her for Christmas one year, as well as bought a set for herself that is very similar. I am lucky enough to have both sets now. The gold plate underneath is just a charger plate.




Here are my favorite peeps at Cajun Clickers. At least the ones who attended the Christmas party. There were awards and good food and great fun and laughs!
