Trip to Memphis

Visitors Center there. We had some great barbecue
at Jim Neely's.
We were lucky enough to time our visit to downtown to see the Peabody ducks come down the elevator and march into the fountain in the lobby. What a lovely old hotel. So gracious and so southern!
These photos are from our hotel room at Harrah's at Tunica Hills, MS. What a nice place. We don't gamble but do enjoy looking around and the food is always wonderful. We can definitely recommend Paula Deen's at Harrah's.

I particularly like the spiral staircases...they made me do a double take.
Looks like it was a lovely trip... I've seen elevators that descended into a pond of carp...but ducks??? Interesting! *G*
